I guess I’m a scary old senior…
Hate to admit it but I guess I am…
Especially when I’m doing things like this
I don’t really understand certain things lo…
Over the past few weeks…
Someone became angry at me… And till now still not talking with me… Over quite a small matter (Which I really think it’s a small matter)
And then, a few more stop talking with me cause… of… Hey… I don’t even know the reason…
A bit sien… Did I do something to scare them? I wonder…
Perhaps I shouldn’t have been too good… Perhaps that barrier is always there and trying to climb over it will just make things worst.
Oh well… I’ll still remain me… The over-the-top (or rather thinks that he is over-the-top) senior who will always do what I think I should do…
And if they keep quiet… Then they are just missing out on a greater part of me…
Focus attention to the juniors in other courses instead
And… I kinda miss my long hair…
Haha

Photo post: My lunch nowadays
I got this. And it became…
Lol… The raisins sunk into the milk already. So can’t see it. But its quite tasty..
Photo post: Getting more and more congested
Saw this incident this morning.
Car was blocked
![]()
Notice the white car parked in front of the greyish blue one. There is another car parked in front of the white car BTW.
Congestion is building up. And FPSK authorities are not doing anything yet. Lets see how much do they want to disgrace themselves.
The story so far can be followed here:
The Story (Part 1)
Photo post: The parking situation gotten a bit worst…
I feel sorry for the owner of this car…
When will they do something about it?
The car got stuck and couldn’t move out of the mud. There’s a tow truck at the far right.

Why I think the Nutrition 1st years are cute…?
If you have followed my Facebook statuses you may have come across updates saying that I have very cute juniors for my lab sessions.
Why are they cute you ask?
Well…
They will:
Ask me for permission before going to toilet (Some of them anyway… And it is really unnecessary BTW)
Jump repeatedly for joy if they managed to get good results in the lab practical. And I mean repeatedly.
Make jokes and riddles with the demos’ mid-way through their practical sessions.
A group stayed behind after everyone was done with the practical to repeat their practical again because they got not-so-good results (I admire their determination)
The group that stayed behind with me after everyone else left sang songs out aloud to keep themselves company while doing their practical.
And the group that stayed behind actually taught a foreign student in their group some Malay songs. I really enjoy looking at how well their relationship with that foreign student is
And finally they labeled their test tubes uniquely. Normally past groups just use markers to label the tubes but I’ve seen creative ways recently. Eg:
This is the standard way to label a tube around here.
But…
I’ve seen
Using liquid paper
and…
Using paper and staples.
and best of all
This group actually cut pieces of small papers and applied glue on it and stick it to the tubes.
Lol. When I was an undergraduate, I remember sometimes we don’t even mind to label the tubes… Or at most just remember where we put them.
But I guess these things make them cute.
Anyway I just hope that they enjoy the practical as well… Even though I’m quite sure that many don’t really understand what they are doing at times.
But hey… I’m enjoying looking at their antics
Should I be that close???
A question that has been in my mind for quite some time now is this. Should I be too close with the juniors? In a way, I found that I’m already a very old senior and perhaps it isn’t really appropriate for me to be too close with the younger generation. A reason will be that it may seemed that I’m treating the juniors better than…well… their seniors which may cause them to think that I’m a bit bias towards the juniors (1st years and 2nd years… I mean you!!!)
And another reason will be that… Well… I told this to JunFook today… That a relationship, even a friendship, is a two way relationship. I don’t really think of the 2nd years or the 1st years as merely juniors but rather friends as well… That’s why I always do what I can to support them. But I wonder do they feel the same way upwards as well… I’ve seen my seniors feeling more and more displaced as time goes by. As if whatever connection they may have had already disappeared. I wanted to protect this connection so I take the initiative to know them… To take care of them as well… (As much as I can anyway)… But then… lets just say that sometimes I get tired too if the relationship is one way. So perhaps that’s why my seniors and those from my batch don’t really know the new generation. Those who remained are those who took the initiative to know them (William, and Biau) and those who could have been good friends with them as well (SookYin, Mitsuki) drifted away because of obligations. But I’m quite sure if they have a chance to know them more they too may have formed a relationship with the juniors as well.
Hmmm… Somehow I feel that I’m drifting further away as well… Should I try to maintain the relationships I have???
Dogathon 2009
Following what I did last year I decided to visit the Dogathon organized by the veterinary students of UPM again this year.
Went to took a bunch of photos of the dogs again. Went alone. Was suppose to meet up with someone there but that didn’t happen… So was left to concentrate on my photographic shoots.
The only problem with the day this time will have to be the weather. It was quite hot and I could see the dogs in need of a cool bath. Such as what this particular one did.
It hogged the water pipe for quite a while before letting the other dogs use it.
And as usual, I’m not able to differentiate the different breeds of dogs again. So I’ll just post up all the photos with the caption of… ‘Dogs’
Lost in the maze
This one is also lost in the maze
Had to drag it out of there… Lol
Jump Lassie Jump!!!
When humans treat pets like their babies.
Looks more like a doll at times
What are you looking at?
I like this photo the best
I don’t want to look at you!!
Small upcoming star!!
Ride em’ cowboy!!!
Feeling sleepy in the heat
I’ve got a beetle bag
I did took quite a number of photos but most didn’t turn out well. Guess it wasn’t really a good photography day out… You may notice a lot of the photos above have legs in them as well…
Anyway… I ‘m looking forward to next year’s. Enjoy the photos
C.A.D 2009
Was at the recent C.A.D for my ex-course recently… Went because I wanted to go… Even though convo mass was on the same night. Went because I wanted to make my existence felt… Went because I wanted to see my juniors… Haha. Went because I am a self proclaimed historian of the course… Went because there are pretty juniors dancing
Perhaps I should just sum up the dinner this year in a good and bad fashion.
***
Good: The place was better than last year…
This year it was held in IOI resort indoors with air-cond
Bad: The place was the same as last year
Last year they held it at IOI resort too… But outside near the pool so it’s kinda hot
***
Good: This year, they have 2 opening dances by the 2nd years…
Sexy dances are a plus point too…
And of course… We have the not-so-sexy dance…
But still entertaining
Bad: Last year I didn’t record any dances at all…
***
Good: The food this year is good
. And refillable. And I ate quite a lot
Bad: The food this year cannot be tapau’ed… Hahaha
***
Good: The juniors act this year was really quite entertaining.
I’m still wondering which girl played Ju-On though.
Bad: A junior of mine didn’t come.
Whose’s the girl with her face blocked out?? (She wished to remain anonymous BTW)… First to answer get a gift
***
Good: We are not sitting with the representatives from other campuses
Bad: Certain seniors couldn’t make it… Including Mitsuki, ChaiTeng, HweiYee and SookYin…
Though if it was a week earlier… They might have come… Especially Mitsuki.
***
Good: I managed to get a good group photo… None blurred
Bad: Since I wanted to take the good group photo… I went to take it myself (Cause I don’t really trust the waiter taking the photo…) So in the end… I’m not in the group photo… Anyone with good editing skills please edit my face in there… Hahaha
***
Good: I get another junior to further my buddy line
She’s furthest on the left.
Bad: I get another great-granddaughter… Haha… My daughters can’t seem to get any guys at all.
***
Good: Took photos with a lot of leng luis.
Bad: Should have taken more photos with more leng luis… Hahaha
***
And finally… To top off everything
Good: I managed to dress up quite ok don’t cha think??
Refer to photos on top
Bad: Haha.. It’s exactly the same thing I wore a year and a half ago for the Biomed Annual Dinner at PICC…
Hair is different though. Haha… Looking back at the above photo… I feel that I really need to keep my hair short
***
Anyway… A good job well done to the organizing committee
Sometimes things that you don’t understand happens…
Hmmm… Lets see… I don’t understand why certain things happen… For eg: For the last post… Well, I know I’m wrong… And then I’m seriously sorry for it… But that little problem turned into a pretty big one right now… And I’m starting to get pissed off about it too…
I can’t believe that people can be treated that way even after doing thus much in trying to get forgiven. Seriously… The more I think about it the more I get angry over it…
.
.
.
.
.
Sigh… Why must simple things be so complicated?
.
.
.
.
.
I know its my policy not too be too angry over things… Since anger really doesn’t solve anything… But I am really starting to reach my limits…
Can you at least tell me what’s wrong?
