I just heard a song on Agatha’s radio that made me remember ChaiTeng’s singing… She is very good at it also… Ha ha… Those were the days…

St Anne’s Feast Day 2008/2009 Fellowship…
I’ve prepared chicken meatballs, hotdog and crabmeat cocktail and the macaroni salad… And amazingly its all gone halfway through the feast… I’m so happy there’s tears in my eyes… Even the cocktail hotdog and crabmeat which I think noone will really eat was finish… OMG… Hurray for Alan’s cooking… Haha

I’m becoming an auntie
Just back from shopping and I have the feeling that I’m starting to turn into a auntie out shopping… Especially when what I bought is toilet tissue, dish washer, those cookable items etc… Can call me Auntie Alan already

My wish for you is that may you’ll be able to meet your idol, Justin Lo, soon… The same way ShirleyChai met him last month… That will be one great surprise for you… 
My complicated ‘buddy’ family…
Every time a new semester begins, we do something to make the juniors to know the seniors better… Its called a buddy system. The older one takes a younger one to watch over…To answer their curiosity regarding the subject and also to guide them throughout the semester… Throughout these few years, I have come to see it as a rather interesting especially in creating the bonds between old ones and young ones…
But then some complicated family do arises… And my family is one such family…
Normally the system put one old and one young together… And the complication arises when this rule is somewhat breached…
After entering during the first year… I was introduce to this system… And of course have a buddy of my own…
And here’s my buddy LingShin… She’s the one standing in the middle…
The one on the left is LingShin’s buddy, HueyYin who was a third year then… And those 2 are my mummy and my grandmummy of this course…
Well… LingShin is a great mummy… and really help me out a lot with questions I have and also to lend me her notes… Ahaha… But I didn’t really get to bond with my grandmummy lor… since the interaction with her is quite little… If by chance you are reading this… Drop me a comment ya…
And then came 2nd year for me… I’m no longer a junior and HueyYin has graduated… But then, new young ones came in… And I was put in ‘charge’ of Olivia… A very understanding daughter… Ahaha… Didn’t complain even though my notes are messy and incomplete… And there are times when I called both mummy and daughter to makan together… So they know each other… If not become me and grandmummy’s case…
And so… During the second year, it was like this..
~I know I look sooo out of place (Me, LingShin, Olivia)~
And then… LingShin graduated… (Hope you are still well)… And came a new junior following that year’s intake… And I’m in third year at the time… But there was a little bit of a confusion that even I can’t really understand…
It started off like this… Olivia was suppose to get one buddy… But as things turn out… The intake that year was miserably small… So in the end she has to share the buddy with another Penang girl, SuatHong… So in came Michelle who is under both Oli and SuatHong… But putting that way means that I’ll have some relation towards SuatHong’s senior buddy, KengSiang… Its seems that Olivia and SuatHong both gave birth to a daughter…
And to put things into more confusion… I totally forgotten how this happen but Febrie joined into the family as well… So Febrie’s senior buddy, BoonMeng will be a relative of mine as well… This family became really big that year…
~The bigger family… (SuatHong, Febrie, Michelle, Olivia, Me and KengSiang…) I think Michelle is very happy cuz got so big a family here… Haha)~
And… The current year… This year’s intake is the opposite of last year… And so Michelle has to take in 2 junior buddies… So the family grew in numbers once more… I wonder when I finally leave UPM after finishing my post-grad… How will the family tree of mine be… Can map out my ancestors and my descendants already…
~The new one, Elaine… She’s shy…~
I’m still searching for the other new one… It will be a long long story once this is over…
Juniors found me
One of my new direct junior found me today. I was like huh. How did she know that we’re related. And there the story came out. My cover was blown not by the first years nor the second years but by the third years. Haiz. There goes the fun. Too many party poopers this time…
~Updated (11th July): Apparently she only know that I’m someone else’s senior… And she hadn’t found out that someone else is my junior buddy… So the game is still on… But I’m walking on very thin ice…~
~Updated (15th July): Game is halfway over… One recognized me already… So left the other…But since the other is really very quiet I think it’ll be me to approach her instead… ~
If Alan can cook, you can too : Fruit Macaroni
Mum taught me how to make Fruit Macaroni a while back, and since I was quite free recently… I attempted it… (This is my first time trying to make it… )
The Ingredients…
~Macaroni, ideal milk, concentrated milk, mayonnaise, raisins and a tin of those fruit cocktails…~
First off… Boil some water and make sure its enough for the amount of macaroni you are preparing
Put some oil into the boiling water so that the macaroni won’t stick… And then put the macaroni in and let it cook for about 10-15 minutes (Longer if you think it’s necessary)… Since this is my first attempt, I only cooked one third of the macaroni in the packet…
While you wait for it to cook, mix the mayonnaise, the ideal milk and the concentrated milk together… The proportion of the these three is dependent upon how much macaroni you are preparing… I tried using half a bottle of mayonnaise with one third of the can of ideal milk and concentrated milk… It seems a little too sweet for me so its probably too much concentrated milk… I also found that the mix I prepared was more than enough… Possibly for a half packet of macaroni instead of the one third I used. Mix thoroughly…
Drain the cocktail of its syrup and add the fruit cocktail into the mix… Eventually it will look something like this
By this time… If you have done the mixing quickly… The macaroni should have been cooked… Drain the macaroni from the pot and then immerse them into cool water (I’m not sure what this does though)… And then drain well after that… Make sure there is no water trapped within those macaroni since it could affect the taste of the mixture you just made…
Soon you’ll get something like this…
Now mix the cocktail with the mayonnaise mixture you prepared earlier… And add some raisins (I added a little too much..) And wa-la… Your fruit macaroni is completed…
~Looks tasty right??~
Chill before eating (or just eat it straight off)… But do keep in the refrigerator is you wanna keep it…
Smell wise: It smells like the same as what I had at home…
Taste wise: A bit too sweet I guess
Look wise: Looks okay to me
Well… I ate it and so far I haven’t got any stomach ache, so I guess its safe…
